About Carnations

According to a Christian legend, when Jesus carried the Cross, first Carnations appeared on earth from where the Virgin Mary's tears fell as she cried over her son's plight on the cross. There are several kinds of Carnations, but three most common are the annual carnations, border carnations and perpetual-flowering carnations. The best part of carnation flowers are lasting a long time, even after they are cut. Every carnation flower’s color says something, like white carnations represents pure love and good luck and red carnations represent admiration, deep love and affection. Thus, carnations are best gifts for saying good luck to someone.
